APEDA License for Exporting Fruits and Vegetables in 2025

Who can apply ?

APEDA License for Exporting for anyone or any business that exports scheduled items, such as fruits and vegetables, as defined by the APEDA Act, must register with APEDA within one month of starting to export.

Requirements ?

Before you can register with APEDA, you need to get an Import Export Code (IEC) from the Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT).

How to Apply in Steps

 

Step 1: 

Visit the official APEDA website and look for the registration link.

Step 2:

Click on “Register as Member” or “e-RCMC” (Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate).

Step 3:

Fill out the online application form with all the business and contact information you need, such as the IEC code, email address, and cell phone number. Enter the one-time password (OTP) you received on your email and mobile device to confirm your contact information.

Step 4:

Submit the documents listed below.

Step 5:

Pay the registration fee online.

Step 6:

Send in your application. If all the paperwork is in order, APEDA will send you the Registration-Cum-Membership Certificate (RCMC) within 1 to 2 weeks.

You need to have proof.

You need to fill out and sign the application form.

The DGFT gives out Import Export Codes (IECs).

Please provide details about the Certificate of Incorporation, the Partnership Deed, or the Proprietorship.

A copy of the PAN card is also required.

Please provide a cancelled cheque or a bank statement.

Address proof for business premises.

A list of goods to be sent abroad.

Give test results and health certificates, if they are needed.

A board resolution is needed for businesses.

You need the receipt for the fee payment.

Validity and Renewal

The APEDA license (RCMC) is good for five years. You can renew it by sending in the right paperwork and paying the renewal fee.
